Artist's Description

The Alamo Mission in San Antonio, or as it was originally known, Misión San Antonio de Valero. An important historic site, this mission became the setting for the Battle of the Alamo, when the Mexican army took the mission from the Texian soldiers on March 6, 1836. All, or almost all, of the Texian soldiers, died there on that fateful day. Today, it's an important historic landmark and is part of the San Antonio Missions World Heritage Site.
